LF-XLC and LF-HLC are modular cartridge dust collectors for fine process dust. Dust-laden gas enters the hopper, where the sudden widening of the gas stream and a distribution plate let coarse particles drop out. Finer dust moves into the filter chamber and is held on the cartridge surface by diffusion and sieving, and the cleaned gas leaves through the clean-air chamber to the fan. A pulse-jet cleans cartridges in turn so the others keep working, which allows continuous operation. The cartridges have no moving parts and are pleated to pack more filter area into a compact body.
The range is built in steps. LF-XLC 6 offers 12 to 72 cartridges (120–720 m², 7,200–43,200 m³/h), LF-XLC 8 offers 16 to 128 cartridges (160–1,280 m², 9,600–76,800 m³/h), and LF-HLC 8 offers 8 to 64 cartridges (120–960 m², 7,200–57,600 m³/h). Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the XLC and HLC series?
They use different cartridge models, LFKL-3266 for XLC and LFKL-3210 for HLC, and different cabinet dimensions. HLC models list 8 to 64 cartridges with filter areas of 120 to 960 m². Send us your airflow and available space and we will advise which suits you.
How do I choose the model size?
Use the recommended airflow for each model as a starting point. For example, the LF-XLC 6-1 is listed at 7,200 m³/h with 12 cartridges. Your dust type and temperature may change the choice, so please contact us for confirmation.
Can the cartridge media be customized?
The published data do not list cartridge media options for these models. Please tell us your dust type and gas temperature and we will confirm suitable cartridge media and other options.
